Hey guys! I've actually been workin' on my first Flash Animation!! It's goin' out a bit well for a first timer. Although I don't know how to put a preloader in (DOH!) and add music and sounds to it D: (DOUBLE DOH! I have experience with animating, though 8D minus 1 doh)
So could anyone help me with those? xD
Anyways, this animation will look like the game that I want it to be, so it means I've cut the animations that I need to "Vert Slash 1" "vert Slash 2" or something like that into "Graphics" so that it will look more like a game.
I really hope after submitting this Flash o' mine it catches a programmer's (and maybe an artist so it wouldn't be stickmen in the game >.<) eye so it would then be err... Turned into... gaming life?
Anyways, here's the Battle System and Adventure system I want it to have.
It goes as a 2d action-arcade style game.
The adventure mode would still look 2d action-arcade, but without the Slash and high Jump. It only has walk, Run, Dash, and Jump. The player will encounter enemies in a manner similar to Final Fantasy, but the enemies will be visible on the map. After the initiation of the Battle, it turns into a Tales of Legendia type of battleground. and next up is the battle system.
The battle system... let's see...I'll start off with the Controls.
I want it to have three different attack buttons, and the arrow keys for the movement.
a for vert slash,
s for horizontal slash and
d for special attack... attacks that are either non-vert/horizontal or non-slash.
The player gets to have at least 4 of a and s, and 2 of d.
pressing a four times would give a combo of "vert Slash 1,2,3,4"
pressing a then s afterwards would look like this. "vert slash 1" "horizontal slash 2"
Oh yeah, and the Fourth is the Finisher.
Mixing a with up will also do a Launcher and can be connected with a high jump and can also be connected with "Aerial Combos" (aerial attacks also have Vertical, Horizontal, and Special attacks)

of course it'll have skills and stuff, and the Finishers, the launchers, and the skills should also be customizable.
